Kristin Kobey

Kristin Kobey is a leadership and product coach with 30 years of experience in tech, most of it spent building products, leading teams, and supporting growth in both people and organizations. She has worked across startups like StarMaker Interactive and global companies including Autodesk, Disney, and Nickelodeon. Along the way, she realized her true passion wasn’t just the product, it was the people building it.

That realization led her to coaching and facilitation. Today, Kristin works with individuals, teams, and organizations at all stages of growth, from early-career to senior leaders, founders, and cross-functional teams. She’s often brought in when things feel stuck, messy, or in transition, bringing structure, deep listening, and product tools to help people zoom out, connect to what matters, and build systems that actually work for them.

Kristin believes the best teams, leaders, and products don’t just happen; they’re built with intention and anchored in purpose. She uses tools like the MVP (Most Valuable Product) Statement, Growth Journey Maps, and Cover Story visioning to help people reflect, reframe, and move forward with more clarity and confidence. Having spent her career helping teams build great products, she now helps people and organizations build strong foundations for leadership, alignment, and sustainable growth.

She is trained in Leadership & Performance Coaching through Brown University, certified by the ICF, and trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS for Coaches). Her clients include Cognizant, Walmart International, Ford Credit, Rock Rabbit, Women in Product, and Products That Count.

Kristin also created Productize Yourself, a hands-on series where she flips the product mindset inward and uses tools like Journey Mapping, Purpose Statements, Roadmapping, and Cover Story visioning to help people get clear on their value, what’s next, and how to evolve into their most valuable product.

When she’s not coaching or facilitating, Kristin is with her husband and two teenagers, spending time with friends, or adventuring on her own. She can often be found hiking, making art, rock climbing, getting lost in a book, or sharing good food and great conversation with the people she loves.
