Previously, Emily served as Vice President of Product and Head of Social Impact at Meta, where she led initiatives across Facebook and Instagram focused on well-being, fundraising, climate, health, equity, and civic engagement. Prior to that, she spearheaded strategic partnerships on the Social Good team, collaborating with leading nonprofits to drive awareness and fundraising for critical causes.
Before joining Meta, Emily was a senior program officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, managing investments in personalized learning software. She also held leadership roles at Arizona State University, including serving as director and special assistant to the provost. She holds degrees from Arizona State University and the University at Buffalo.
